The Ministry of Education – Government of Kingdom of Bahrain is responsible for providing free education to all native and non-native children living in Bahrain. There are separate schools for boys and girls with same sex educators and administrators. You may find some female staff in boys’ primary schools. Every child in Bahrain attends either public school or private school. Special education is available for children with special needs. Free textbooks supplied by directorate of curricula, ministry of education. The ministry also provides free transportation to children who lives far from school, and don’t have their own transport.
